OAK HOOK Series 2 Dual-Purpose Wall-Climbing Hook and Piton

Multi-purpose use of the OAK HOOK set in wall climbing (driven and torque):
The ICT Oak hook set, with two different edge types (narrow and wide) in various sizes, covers all a wall climber's needs for facing all kinds of rock cracks. This tool's 90-degree design allows two different placement methods:

• Driven mode (Piton Mode): in narrow, hairline cracks, the tool's hardened edge is set inside the rock seam with wall-climbing hammer blows.
• Camming/torque and inverted-jam mode (Camming / Torque Mode): in horizontal cracks, holes, or fragile rock where driving isn't possible, the 90-degree edge is inserted into the crack and, by applying weight on the aider, creates torque and locks inversely into the rock.

Model variety and key features of the 3-piece set:

• Thin-S1 model (narrow edge): has a thin edge for precise penetration into the finest, tightest hairline wall cracks.
• Wide-S1 model (wide edge): has a wider edge for more surface engagement and greater stability in shallow cracks.
• Wide-S2 model (extra-wide edge): the largest size in this set, with a wide edge for stronger leveraging and creating higher torque in wider cracks.
• Color-coded webbing: equipped with sturdy woven straps in three distinct colors for quickly selecting the desired size and model on the harness.
• Easy removal: can be quickly leveraged and removed after loading with the help of a piton-puller tool (Nut Tool).
• Very hard alloy steel: resistant to bending, deformation, and wear under pressure and hammer blows.
